The Transportation 4 Missouri Foundation works toward meeting the transportation needs of low-income Missourians in a partnership with the Cars 4 Missouri Donated Car Network (C4MO). The purpose of the partnership is to increase access to vital mobility programs and automotive services designed to help remove the barriers that are the direct result of the lack of reliable transportation. Cars 4 Missouri network programs are inline with and support the mission of the foundation to increase access to viable options that help to resolve the transportation isssues that many Missouri residents and families face. 

C4MO donated car programs are proven to make a real difference by offering tangible solutions by utilizing commonsense methods that help confront the issues that impede growth and stymie the efforts of residents and families that are striving to succeed. City bus services are not designed to meet personal needs or keep strict schedules while public transit services like Uber and taxi cabs services are not financially unsustainable for many. The lack of a personal vehicle is a barrier for those that are facing health issues, working to retain or seek employment, and those that are struggling to support a family. The foundation spearheads a highly aggressive collaborative effort to improve the lives of residents and families by spearheading an approach that is designed to resolve a wide array of the transportation issues that adversely affect the lives of those who suffer from the lack of a reliable vehicle. 

Cars 4 Missouri programs offers a vehicle Buyers Initiative in a partnership with Caring Cars Used Auto Sales that make it possible for low-income and first-time-buyers to purchase an affordable used vehicle. Caring Cars also oversees the repair of client’s vehicles that are referred to the Vehicle Repair Initiative. Currently, used auto sales and repair services are only available in Columbia and Jefferson City, Missouri. The network utilizes a time tested program model that is designed to collaborate and work in unison with partners and referral organization. The lack of transportation is an issue that can only be resolved through the ownership of a reliable vehicle. Unfortunately for those who cannot afford a personal vehicle the lack of a vehicle becomes a life altering barrier that adversely affects the quality of their day-to-day lives.
